Monte Albán ~ The hills outside of Oaxaca are famous for the pre-Columbian pyramid complex known as Monte Albán. This important Zapotec structure was one of the first cities in Mesoamerica, and the fertile hills outside the city helped support the increased population density. Modern agricultural practices have shifted toward the production of coffee, and small producers from the community of Santa Cruz Xoxocotlán are responsible for this super sweet, easy-drinking coffee. The taffy-like sweetness and classic chocolate flavors will keep you coming back for another cup.
Coffees are currently roasted to order and shipped every Tuesday and Thursday. Orders received before 5pm the day before a roast day will be included in the next day's roast.
